What We Do

Step 2- Market Research

Market Research

Market research is an important aspect of creating a plan. Without the proper plan and due diligence all the work set fourth can be a waste of time. We go over all aspects of your business and compettiive analysis to identify what makes sense for you.

Research is where we find out what your customers actually type into Google when they need what you sell. Not what you think they search, and not the industry jargon you use internally. The difference matters. A remodeler might talk about "renovation services" while every customer in their county is searching "kitchen remodel cost." If you build a plan around the wrong words, you spend months ranking for phrases nobody uses.

We pull the real search volume for your services in your market, then map out who already owns those results. For every competitor that outranks you, we look at why. How many pages do they have? Where are their links coming from? What do their reviews look like? How fast do they answer the phone? Some competitors look intimidating until you dig in and find their whole position rests on one old blog post and a directory listing. Others are genuinely strong, and knowing that up front tells us which fights to pick first.

We also study the buyers themselves. What makes someone choose one company over another in your industry? Price, speed, trust signals, photos of past work, a real person answering the phone? Every market has its own tells, and the businesses that win are the ones that match how their customers actually decide. This is also where we look at seasonality, service area boundaries, and which neighborhoods or towns produce the customers you actually want.

What comes out of this stage is a written game plan: the exact services and search terms we are going after, the competitors we need to pass, what it will realistically take to pass them, and in what order. No guessing, no generic checklist. Every hour of work that follows in steps three and four traces back to something we found here.
